CMA at the Chicago CBS affiliate twice in October

Posted by Mitchell - October 8, 2004 (entry 238)

CBS has botched its coverage big time of the Bush White House, by suppressing a confirmed story about the Bush administration promoting forged documents about uranium yellowcake from Niger. Instead, CBS opted for a story which CBS and Dan Rather have fallen back on. You can read more about the story and background here.

In response, Chicago Media Action will be distributing flyers at the CBS affilates twice in October, on Monday, October 11, and on Monday October 18 (the same date, by the way, of International Media Democracy Day). More details to come.

This is also a promotional event for the CMA-organized town hall meeting near the end of the month.
