Good News -- Two Announcements

Posted by Mitchell - December 8, 2004 (entry 261)

(1) WLUW radio (on the north side of Chicago) has announced that it will begin airing Democracy Now! with the start of the new year. Starting Monday, January 3, northside Chicagoans can hear DN on 88.7 FM from 9am to 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This makes it three radio stations in Chicago which air the show.

(2) Though wi-fi has been a terrain of struggle in Chicagoland, at least we can report that all 79 branches of the Chicago Public Library offer free wireless internet.
